Florence

Cadence and I rented a car and drove from Rome to Florence. It was a great drive and the Tuscany landscapes were awesome. Not a lot different from the hills of southern Missouri, except for the hudreds of years old walled villages! We stayed in the middle of the oldest part of the city where the streets are mostly pedistrian except for the occasional cab. They were great to explore...

I LOVE YOUR PICTURES! What a weird coincidence, I'm also from Missouri and a while ago, I got the chance to study for a year in Tuscany and I loved every minute of it. I don't know if you're still over there or back in the states, but if you're still there, you need to go northwest to Cinque Terre. It's a strip of five small towns all on the northwestern coast that are all connected by coastal walking trails up on the cliffs. The whole place is really amazing! Happy Travels!
