The day before yesterday, it was in the 70s. Today, there's 17 inches of snow, high in the low 20s and a wind chill of 1 degree!
It stared with about 1/4 inch of ice, then turned to snow. After midnight it was what they call thunder snow. It was falling at 3 inches an hour and there was thunder and lightning. Very strange!
Unfortunately, i got a bit of damage from the storm; both of my outside gazebo tents collapsed, and the pool cover split apart into the pool.
I-70 was closed as was most of the town, including MU. It's been several years since the University shut down due to snow!
