Journey Delayed...
SHIT!!!! As soon as the journey started, it tripped over the curb and fell flat on its face. We boarded the plane in STL right on time, things were going great. Got ready to pull away from the gate, and: "This is the captain...", delayed due to some @*&%!@ valve that was stuck. They had us leave the plane after about an hour, then right in the middle of trying to re-book everyone, they put us back on the plane. American Airlines was no help at all during the flight. We land and send Zack ahead to run to the gate for the London flight. We get there one minute late and the plane is nowhere to be seen... GONE! We get a hotel room at the airport Hilton, Leslie calls the London hotel to update them, "no worries, your room will be here, but you still have to pay for the first night that you're going to miss..." Love those Brits!. Anyway, here we sit, all five of us in a small room looking out at the rain and snow coming down in Beautiful Chicago. They put us on the 10pm flight in the bulkhead row (we don't need to put our legs anywhere!), we'll arrive at 11:35am. After customs and transport, we should be at the hotel around 1pm. There goes half of our big day in London. Let the fun begin...
